2009 - The Young Victoria

Like any other King or Queen movies, THE YOUNG VICTORIA tells the same IMPRISONED theme, where they can not express their feeling as freely as other people, especially in LOVE. Luckily in this movie, love finds a way for a VERY YOUNG QUEEN. When a girl meets a boy with the same interest, her ADMIRATION speeds. When he happens to be attentive and kind, her AFFECTION springs. And although his being handsome, charming or rich only listed in rather low points, no girl – even a Queen one – will resist such temptations. Here you will see the determination of a girl’s heart to MARRY ONLY FOR LOVE, while every circumstance tells her not to. And when she has managed to marry him, being a QUEEN and a WIFE are not always singing the same tune. She has too much POWER, and her husband would easily feel neglected. Again, at any phase of her life, LOVE FINDS A WAY. What feels good about this story is that the Queen and her husband have big enough hearts to RESPECT one another, to ACCEPT the situation, to SUSTAIN the marriage...till death do them part.
