As the title has promised, AN EDUCATION educates not only the highschool girls, but also parents and teachers on how to stand up for the importance of school education. Elaborated in a serious drama, the story is about a girl who’s seduced by an older man, using his charm, jazz, and Paris. Like all addictive pleasures in the world, GLAMOUR is not forever. The sooner you get back to the REAL LIFE, the better. Except, of course, you make a living in that industry. While the firs part of the movie entertains us with very enjoyable romance, toward the ending we might feel sick to our stomach. Probably it’s because we’ve experienced it, or maybe because some of the dialogs about the unimportance of a proper education for girls might sound true to you. So here some lessons to learn from the movie. Highschool girls, don’t ever fall for a guy beyond your age. Parents, don’t ever give up on your children’s school education. And Teachers, please find yourself some better words of wisdom to debate your straight-A students on the importance of finishing school before entering REAL LIFE.Sunday, February 21, 2010
