2009 - The Blind Side

While it should be PURE, sometimes we have to question ourselves about the SINCERITY of our GOOD DEEDS. What’s in it for us? Are we expecting something from this? THE BLIND SIDE of course can not answer it for you exactly, but it’s good enough to come up with the subject. Following a rich white American family who’s taking a poor black teenager into their house, treats him like a family, turns him into a great Football player in highschool, and then directs him to go to the university of their alumni which might give them some advantage. The movie is packed with enjoyable feel-good scenes, and answers the question accordingly – with a happy ending, because this is a true story, and because that’s the way it should be...a GRATITUDE for the kindness, an APOLOGY for the humanly insincerity, and an ACCEPTANCE that family is not necessarily related to blood.
